Glass that is channel fixed means that it has been fixed into a channel, usually concrete.

The concreters first form the channel when they pour the concrete.

After the concrete has hardened, we sit our glass in the channel, and grout it into the channel.

The paver then paves right up to the glass.

This gives the impression of the glass coming out of the concrete.
