Spigot Fixing

by Admin on October 15, 2010

12mm glass pool fencing with spigotsSpigot Fixing is a 316 Marine grade stainless steel fixing, which comes in two fixings.

One kind is core-drilled into concrete paving footing.

The other fixing type is a base-mounted spigot which has a flange that is fixed down to timber decks, steel beams, etc.

Spigot fixing is our recommended fixing, firstly as there are a range of different spigots, both round and square, and also because it means that the glass is suspended 50mm off the ground.

This means it lets leaves and dust blow underneath the glass – in other words, you don’t have a gathering of leaves in the corner of your glass fencing.

With other types of fixings, the bottom 100mm of glass becomes dirty after it rains, and that’s the hardest place to clean.

All our hardware has been tested for quality.
