Standoff Fixing
by Admin on October 15, 2010
Standoff fixings are 38mm or 50mm diameter fixings that are side-mounted into decks and concrete slabs, actually holding the glass down past the outside of the deck or balcony.
This type of fixing holds the glassĀ 30-50ml off the surface with a spacer.
Standoff fixings are a little bit more expensive, because there is a bit more glass involved.
They generally more commonly used for balconies and balustrading.
